Career Opportunities : Internships & Full-Time Jobs

Internships
Internships are an essential part of your experience in the Eller experiential learning curriculum. Companies use the internship as a “three-month interview” during which they assess your performance on typical projects and assignments that newly hired MBAs would be expected to complete.
You, in turn, are provided with the opportunity to assess the company and its culture to determine if it is the type of environment and organization in which you would like to work.
Internships are conducted during the summer between your first and second year.
Internship recruiting season:
- Late January – April of your first year
First-year MBAs participating in the internship recruiting process can view internship announcements listed on Wildcat JobLink.
Full-Time Jobs
As a second-year MBA student, your career search objective will be to secure a full-time opportunity that begins upon graduation, one that is a good fit for you and leverages your skills, interests, and experiences. Ideally, it should also be positioned well within your overall career plan.
Full-time employment recruiting season:
- Late September – November
Second-year MBAs participating in the full-time recruiting process can view full-time job announcements listed on Wildcat JobLink.
