Rosemary Kananu, MBA '07“The team projects have exposed me to different work styles of my classmates, which is a precursor for relating with colleagues in the workplace after graduation.” On the Eller experience: The experience has been great, and the exposure to a fine mix of the American culture and the international cultures has made the program diverse. The small classes have enhanced in-class interaction. The team projects have exposed me to different work styles of my classmates, which is a precursor for relating with colleagues in the workplace after graduation. On Eller faculty and curriculum: I enjoyed the international management class, from which I learned a lot about the status of developing countries vis-à-vis the global economy. I am also enjoying my finance and accounting classes because it is an area in which I have a keen interest. I have been greatly impressed by professor Price Fishback (managerial economics) and Robert Unterberger (corporate strategy). They have a way of engaging the class in the course which makes it easy to internalize the concepts. On the Eller staff: For such a small team, I think the Office of Career Development does a great job. I have learned a lot about networking, effective job search skills, interviewing skills, etc. I was able to secure a summer internship through the Office of Career Development. On her career goals: The Eller Program helped me understand what it takes to become entrepreneurial. I have also learned about social entrepreneurship, a concept that is new to me. The network that I have formed at Eller will help me in the future as I make progress in my endeavors.
