Dual Degrees : Traditional Programs

The traditional or sequential-study dual-degree program pairs your MBA with a graduate degree in law, pharmacy, finance, or international management, allowing you to gain a significant competitive advantage as you reenter the job market.

Tuition and fees vary by program. Each semester, you will pay fees to one college — the college in which you are taking the majority of that semester's classes (your "resident" program for that semester).

MBA/Master of Accounting (MAcc)

The proposed MBA/MAcc dual degree program allows both MBA students to apply to the MAcc program after completing their first year.   With proper planning a student can receive both degrees in five academic semesters or two and one half years of full time study.

Upon completion, the dual degree student will have completed 37 credits of accounting courses, which combined with other coursework in the MBA/MAcc  dual degree will qualify students to become licensed as a CPA in Arizona.  Note that students must meet all other requirements to become licensed as aCPA including but not limited to passing the uniform CPA exam.

MBA/Master of Science in MIS

If you are seeking an edge in the technology field you can complete an Eller MBA and a MS in MIS. You will need to gain acceptance to each program separately.

Students begin classes in the Fall semester with MBA core curriculum or the MS MIS core. Regardless of the program a students first, the student must complete one full year (two consecutive semesters) of that program before starting the next. The total units required for completion of the Dual Degree Program is 71 and takes about 2-3 years of Full Time study to complete.. Studnets must complete the MBA core courses (except for MIS 585) and choose electives from each program. For the MS MIS degree, the courses depend on the track being pursued. Please contact Mona Lopez for more information.
