Trina Callie

Assistant Dean
Eller MBA Program

Dr. Trina Callie (Ph.D., The University of Arizona) is currently the assistant dean, with direct responsibility for the Executive, Evening, and Full-Time MBA programs in Tucson and Phoenix. Callie also leads the international business trips for MBA students. Since joining the Eller College in 1998, she has served in leadership roles over career development, admissions, and academic services.

Callie received her MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in marketing and corporate strategy and her Bachelor of Arts degree in media arts with a minor in French from The University of Arizona. Prior to coming to The University of Arizona she worked in corporate marketing roles in both software and consumer products companies. Before receiving her MBA, she served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, in the capacity of public affairs officer for a Department of Defense test center.

Callie’s research interests are in the areas of higher education administration, business schools, faculty labor markets, and faculty salary inequality. She is a member of the Association for the Study of Higher Education and formerly served as a national director of facility corporations for Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity.
