William Van Leuvan
Adjunct Lecturer
Department of Management Information Systems
Bill Van Leuvan is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Management Information Systems at The University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. He holds an MBA in operations management from Syracuse University and a BS in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Prior to his academic career, Van Leuvan worked for Oneida Limited for nearly ten years, where his last position was as a senior manager in materials. Following this, he worked for Digital Equipment Corporation for thirteen years where he held several senior positions.
Since leaving the corporate environment, Van Leuvan ’s academic career has now spanned more than 15 years and has included adjunct assignments at Framingham State College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Northeastern University followed by full-time positions at Assumption College and then Brandeis University prior to coming to the Eller College of Management in 2003. Though he has taught in a variety of business disciplines, Van Leuvan has focused more in operations management and quantitative areas and continues to do so.
