Professional Development
We have designed two types of professional development activities that are intended to supplement your MBA experience and provide you with varied exposure:
- Executive Mentoring
- Skill Building Workshops
Executive Mentoring
Executive mentoring sessions are one-on-one meetings with select, experienced executives. These sessions are designed to provide you with an opportunity to actively engage and interact with executives from various industries and gain.
Skill Building Workshops
The objectives of the Professional Development workshops are to improve your professional development skills and self-marketing tools, such as resumes and cover letters. This preparation will aid in your career search while at Eller and in future searches.
The workshop series — a partnership of career development staff, business communication faculty, alumni, and corporate community supporters — assists you as you develop these skills.
These workshops are conducted in conjunction with the Business Communications curriculum or through the Office of Career Development.
Workshops include:
- Resume development and personalized critique
- Cover letter development and personalized critique
