Jim Haleem

Jim Haleem joined the Eller College of Management as an Executive-in-Residence in 2002 after a 20-year career with Motorola.
Jim’s career with Motorola included responsibility for restructuring and implementing global changes in Sales & Operations Planning; oversight for sales, service, and marketing of cellular products for nine subsidiaries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; and management of global distribution, logistics, and purchasing for cellular products. He also served as the General Manager for sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing of the Consumer Products Division in the U.S. Upon his retirement, Jim was Corporate Vice President and Director.
Jim currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Management and Organizations Department in the Eller College and teaches graduate courses on management, strategy, and critical thinking. Jim has a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Illinois University and a master’s degree in counseling and psychology from Northeastern Illinois University.
