Christopher Lamoureux

Diamond Professor of Finance and Department Head
Department of Finance

Chris Lamoureux worked at Chase Manhattan as an international banker, before going to graduate school at Syracuse University. He taught at Louisiana State University and Washington University (St. Louis) before joining Eller in 1994. 

Since 1998, Chris has been the head of our Finance Department. Chris's research looks at all aspects of financial markets from stock splits to volatility forecasting to interest rate modeling. He currently teaches courses in the Finance Department's Fixed Income Track, which he believes provide our students with a set of skills and perspective that will optimally enhance their career development.
