Jesper Nielsen
Assistant Professor
Department of Marketing
Jesper Nielsen joined the Department of Marketing at The University of Arizona in 2003. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing in 2003 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received awards for both his research and his teaching.
Prior to joining academia he worked in international marketing and strategic marketing planning primarily within the area of information technology.
His scholarly work focuses on incidental or low-involvement exposure to marketing stimuli, primarily advertising, and continues to advance knowledge in the areas of consumer preferences and consumer protection.
Professor Nielsen currently teaches MKTG 572, Marketing Research for Managers.
