Pamela Slaten

Senior Lecturer and Assistant Department Head
Department of Management Information Systems

Dr. Pamela Slaten is assistant head of the Management Information Systems Department and director of the Master’s in MIS program. She plays a central role on the Eller MBA teaching faculty, serving as the core operations management professor throughout all MBA programs and as a long and active member of the Graduate and Professional Studies Committee that oversees them.

Slaten’s research interests are focused on the design of manufacturing systems, computer simulation, quality control, and the management of service operations. Her business experience includes a position in operations management in the Geophysical Research section of Amoco Production Company.
