Meet Eller MBAs
Eller MBA '10
Why did you choose the Eller MBA?
I was attracted to the emphasis on experiential learning at Eller and the intentionally small class size. The commitment to bettering the whole student in the MBA program showed strength in the Eller program; business communications and presentation are just as important as accounting and statistics.
What stands out about the Eller faculty and curriculum?
The faculty and staff are available to us and work hard to bring us to the next level of excellence in every subject we face. The classes and professors in our first year are designed to help us craft our ‘soft’ skills well and master ‘hard’ skills like economics and finance. The rigorous course load has everyone working together to be the best we can be.
What are your career goals?
I plan to complete a Master's in Public Health as well as an MBA. After that I would like to go back overseas and work in public health bringing the valuable MBA skillset into my work in developing countries.
What is your personal takeaway with the Eller MBA?
My time at Eller is just beginning. After just a few months here I know that I am learning the skills I came here to get. The classes are challenging, the professors and staff really care, and my classmates are amazing.
