France is known as one of the most romantic and beautiful countries in the world.  A founding member of the United Nations, France is also a recognized as long standing political force as well.  From Provence to Bourgogne, the French are known as fiercely patriotic as well as highly particular about their wine and cuisine.

Paris is one of the world's leading business and cultural centers, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities.  Paris has an estimated population of 2,153,600 and if you count the surrounding communities, the population reaches an approximate 10 million.  Like many ocean climates, the temperature in Paris is relatively stable. Highs reach 59 °F and yearly lows tend to remain around an average 5 °F s far as business goes, Paris produces more than a quarter of the gross domestic product (GDP) of France and is the headquarter location for 15 of the world’s 100 largest companies as well as half of the largest French companies.

The Paris Graduate School of Management (PGMS), Paris, France

The PGSM Business School Group, founded in 1975, is a private institution made up of four Business School Units (ESG, ESGCI, ESGF, ESGI), which are located on 5 campuses in the heart of Paris.  Approximately 4,200 students attend the Paris Graduate School of Management, including 1,000 from other countries representing 80 nationalities. All campuses and most of the classrooms are equipped with the highest standard of information technology, as well as wireless Internet connections. Recognized and accredited by the French Government and the French Ministry of Education,  PGSM is ranked among the top 10% in France.  Classes are taught in English and French.

The ESG Ecole Superieure de Gestation) MBA—Exchange Partner

The Group ESG Paris Graduate School of Management with its 4 Business School Units (Ecole Supérieure de Gestion, Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et de Commerce International, Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Finances, Ecole Supérieure de Génie Informatique) is a French “grande école”, specialized in Business, Management, Finance and Computer Science.  ESG is noted as one of the EU’s up and coming business and management schools. In addition to being accredited by the IACBE and in the AACSB accreditation process, ESG PARIS has been ranked 22nd in France (out of more than 230) and 4th in the Paris area.

The Full-Time ESG MBA Program & Courses

PGSM offers courses in English on the Master and MBA level in the fields of Management, Business, Finance, and Marketing.

Eller MBA students may spend one semester of their second year at the PGSM.  Courses from any of the eight specializations can be taken which include:

  • Luxury Management (in French: January to June, in English – May to July)
  • International Management (in French: September to December or January to June, in English September to December or January to June)
  • Sports Management (in French: January to June)
  • e-Business (in French: January to June)
  • Marketing and Advertising (in French: September to December or January to June, in English September to December or January to June)
  • Global Marketing Management (in English – May to July)
  • Tourism & Hospitality Management (in French: January to June, in English – May to July)
  • Auditing and Chartered Accountancy (in French: September to December or January to June, in English September to December or January to June)
  • Audiovisual Production (in French: January to June)
  • Financial Management / international Finance: (in French: September to December or January to June, in English September to December, January to June or May to July)

Exchange students can attend any of these courses.

PGSM can provide accommodation for about 85 students each semester, and is therefore the only business school within Paris guaranteeing accommodation for the exchange students. More information about accommodation can be found at

The PGSM Buddy Network takes care of the incoming students, from organizing an airport pickup, the welcome party, and helping them to integrate as well as with other administrative matters such as opening a bank account or getting a French mobile phone:

Either semester students should plan to arrive with ample time to establish housing and prepare for orientation.

Deadline for accommodation is May 15th for the Fall term and October 15th for the Spring term.
