Financial Analyst

  • Produced a segmented five-year marked forecast for a $300 million product opportunity in consumer storage.
  • Played a key role in influencing and advising a multifunctional team of engineers and marketers.
  • Conducted cost and feature comparison with future products from major competitors, such as Via, AMD, and Marvell.
  • Prepared official NPV and P&L projections which were used at the corporate level for long-range project funding decisions.

Brand Management

  • Responsible for restaging of a product brand while managing a $60,000 budget and cross-functional team. Presented findings and recommendations directly to CEO and senior management.
  • Managed the creation and execution of a product brand's 2008 public relations strategy and execution.
  • Managed a product website redesign which entailed a comprehensive competitive analysis and the selection of an external web agency followed by the management of a four-person team throughout the summer.
  • Increased gross profit margin of a product by 10%, or roughly $1.1 million, through the analysis of production trends and deficiencies.

Strategic Marketing

  • Researched industry trends, market potentials, competitor positioning, and product landscape to identify existence of market niche and opportunity.
  • Drilled down market research data to obtain addressable market size (SAM) from a $900 million market; performed pro forma for projected revenues five years forward and backward.
  • Designed a product concept, including product datasheets, that targets the market niche.
  • Successfully persuaded management team to move a product concept into next phase following a presentation.

Information Technology

  • Designed, documented, and communicated process flows to integrate third-party support into existing business processors for a company's first IT off-shoring engagement. Implemented problem and change management processes.
  • Managed documentation collection for the knowledge-transfer phase of an off-shoring engagement, including creating and maintaining a SharePoint site and working with managers and developers to set expectations and ensure timely collection of documentation.

Technology Integration

  • Conducted market analysis and feasibility study for technology transfer project — including forecasting demand and financial implications of technology commercialization.

Operations

  • Independently studied the entire international sales and operations process of a company. Assessed current set of decision-making processes used to balance demand and supply.
  • Identified the need for employees to develop a clear understanding of the goals of the sales and operations planning process, as well as an unbiased demand forecast process.
  • Developed plan for integration of financial planning and sales and operations process as a link for high-level strategic plans with day-to-day operations.
