Overview

Our students not only develop functional and technical knowledge along with management skills; they are also given the opportunity to apply this knowledge and training through experiential learning opportunities that are integrated into the curriculum.

Eller MBAs communicate effectively, critically analyze and comprehend complex business situations, and build high-performance teams. Therefore, they enter your organization equipped and poised to make an impact either through an internship or full-time position.

National Recognition

Our MBA and supplementary programs — MIS and entrepreneurship — continue to receive national recognition. In 2009, the Eller MBA program was ranked as the #5 public MBA program in the country, #19 among all U.S. institutions, and #41 worldwide by Financial Times. The 2008 U.S.News & World Report survey placed the program at #55. The MIS program has ranked among the top-five MIS programs nationally for the last 16 years, and the entrepreneurship program is ranked #3 by Entrepreneur. Full-Time Hiring

The Eller MBA Office of Career Development facilitates full-time recruiting. Our team works directly with recruiters to obtain employment opportunities and communicate them to our students. We also organize interview schedules and associated logistics and details if so desired.  Second-year MBA students begin interviewing for full-time employment opportunities in September of their second year, and are not expected to begin working with the hiring organization until after their May graduation.  View the full-time hiring process.

Internships

The summer internship is a great opportunity for you to engage a graduate student who not only possesses prior work experience but is further enhanced by the curriculum and first-year MBA experience. The student has the opportunity to apply this knowledge to meaningful projects and help your organization achieve its objectives and goals. Contact us to help place an Eller MBA student in an internship with your organization.
