I Chose the Eller MBA Because...
I came from an Army background, and my entire MBA at the University of Arizona could be funded by the post-9/11 GI Bill. In addition, Eller's entrepreneurship program is top-ranked and allowed me to explore opportunities and decide what I really wanted to do.

Each year the Eller College of Management welcomes a number of veterans into our Full-Time, Evening, Executive, and Online MBA programs. These students come from a range of military branches and appreciate the welcoming community here at the Eller MBA. Because of our small class sizes, veterans easily connect with other veterans and also with their other classmates.

Employers appreciate the leadership, organizational skills, hard work, and discipline that veterans have developed, and these students typically fare well in internships and job searches. The leadership and integrity that military students bring to each Eller MBA class in unprecedented. Whether you are active duty or seeking a career transition, an MBA can help you advance in the ranks.

The MBA Program for Veterans

The University of Arizona welcomes veterans and strives to support them on every step of their educational journey. We are designated as a Military Friendly School by the Graduate Management Admissions Council.

The Eller College of Management works closely with the UA Office of Veterans Education and Training Services (VETS) to ensure that we meet the needs of our student veterans. Among other services, the VETS office works with the Veterans Services Department of the Office of the Registrar to ensure that returning veterans receive the education benefits to which they are entitled.

The University of Arizona’s outreach to and services for veterans was recently highlighted on Morning Edition from National Public Radio: “Vets Flock to Colleges... but How are They Doing?” Listen to the story or read the transcript.
