How is the program structured?
The program is delivered in sessions. There are two sessions per fall, spring and summer semesters. During each session two core courses and two or more electives will be offered.
How many units (credits) is the program?
To earn your MBA, you will need to complete 14 core two-unit courses and 17 units of electives for a total of 45 units.
How long does it take to complete the program?
The program can be completed in as little as 14 months, or if you prefer to take a slower pace, you can take up to four years.
What does the program cost?
The program costs $45,000 ($1,000 per unit). The cost includes all e-books and materials.
Other than tuition are there any other costs?
There is a $100 application fee and a $35 fee to process your diploma.
Must I come to campus?
No, the program is 100% online. However, we do invite our online students to visit when they are able and we encourage them to take advantage of professional talks and networking events on campus. All are welcome to participate in convocation to mark and celebrate their accomplishment.
Must I login to attend classes at a specific time?
No, this program is asynchronous. The material is available online 24/7. Cover the material and complete the assignments for the week when it fits your schedule.
Is this MBA accredited?
Yes, the University of Arizona's Eller Online MBA is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Since 1916, this has been the premier accrediting association to ensure that business schools are providing top quality education.
Will my diploma be different from those earned in the on-ground Eller MBA programs?
No, all Eller MBA programs earn the same MBA degree; all that is different is the delivery of education.
Who teaches in the Eller Online MBA program?
The same highly-regarded faculty who teach in the on ground MBA programs teach in the Online MBA. Most hold doctoral degrees and are published experts in their fields of research.
Is the GMAT required?
Yes, in most cases the GMAT is required. However, it will be waived in if you hold an MD, JD, or Ph.D. from a regionally-accredited institution. Also, if you hold a bachelor's or master's in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field from a regionally-accredited institution and have a 3.0 GPA or better, you will be considered for a GMAT waiver.
